CEN®CN polyimide film is typical general-purpose polyimide film and has been used successfully in applications at temperatures as low as -269°C (-452°F) and as high as 400°C (752°F). CN film can be laminated,metallized, punched, formed or adhesive coated. CEN®CN is used for applications that require an all-polyimide film with an excellent balance of properties over a wide rangeof temperatures.
CEN®CF polyimide film tape is the general CEN®CN film that is coated or laminated on one or both sides with Teflon FEP fluoropolymer. This kind of tape is not with adhesive performance at the normal temperature,the temperature should reach 300℃ in order to be adhesive. CEN®CF imparts heat sealability,provides a moisture barrier,and enhances chemical resistance.
The tape shows excellent dielectric and insulation properties, high-temperature resistant, excellent solvent resistant, outstanding tear and abrasion resistance at elevated temperatures, and mask-off gold finger contacts during wave soldering. It works for a long-term at temperature 180℃,while short time at 360℃,widly used in electronic industry and electrical insulation industry.
